About Matrix Studio

What this app does

Matrix Studio turns an ESP32-S3 64×32 LED matrix into a display you control from your browser. On the Studio page, drag in images, GIFs, and video, line them up as a playlist, and stream them to the panel live over your WiFi. Tune the fit with zoom and pan, dim the panel in real time, and let a built-in sequence auto-advance items with fade or swipe transitions. An autonomous mode saves the playlist to the board itself, so it keeps looping even after this app closes. The Downloads page has the ready-to-flash firmware, a step-by-step setup guide, and links to the exact board and panel — so you can go from zero to a streaming display in minutes, no soldering required.

Support Matrix Studio

Keep the lights on

Matrix Studio is a free, open project built by a 37-year-old nerd who loves creating things in his free time and sharing what he learns with others — no subscriptions, no ads, no paywalls. If it's helped you build something you love, a donation keeps the project running: it covers hosting, development time, and new hardware to test and expand support. Every contribution, big or small, goes straight back into making the app better for everyone. Thank you for being part of it.
